Empire of Dreams (poetry collection)

Empire of Dreams (Spanish: El imperio de los sueños, 1988) is a postmodern poetry epic by Puerto Rican author Giannina Braschi, who is considered "one of the most revolutionary voices in Latin American literature today".

Not to be confused with Empire of Dreams: The Story of the Star Wars Trilogy, a 2004 documentary about the making of the original Star Wars trilogy, or Klonoa: Empire of Dreams, a Klonoa game released in 2001 for the Game Boy Advance.

Love, liberty, inspiration, immigration, gender fluidity, and creativity are the main themes of Empire of Dreams, an ode to New York City.
