Ellwangen an der Jagst, officially Ellwangen (Jagst), in common use simply Ellwangen (German pronunciation: [ˈɛlˌvaŋən] ) is a town in the district of Ostalbkreis in the east of ⓘBaden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It is situated about 17 kilometres (11 mi) north of Aalen.
