Elisabeth Köstinger

Elisabeth Köstinger (born 22 November 1978) is an Austrian politician who served as Minister for Agriculture, Sustainability and Tourism in the government of Chancellors Sebastian Kurz, Alexander Schallenberg, and Karl Nehammer from 7 January 2020. She previously served in this capacity from December 2017 until June 2019. She is a member of the Austrian People's Party, part of the European People's Party.

From 9 November 2017 to 18 December 2017, Köstinger briefly served as President of Austria's National Council. Prior to that, she was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Austria between 2009 and 2017. From May 2017 to January 2018, she was secretary general of the Austrian People's Party.
