Elhayi
Elhayi (Persian: الهایی), also Romanized as Elhāyī, Al Ḩā’ī, Alhā’ī, and Al Hayi, is a city in the Central District of Ahvaz County, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Elhayi Rural District.

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,741 in 546 households, when it was a village in Elhayi Rural District. The following census in 2011 counted 5,103 people in 1,091 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 7,651 people in 1,905 households, by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city.
