Edward W. Carter
Edward W. Carter (June 29, 1911 – April 25, 1996) was an American businessman, philanthropist and art collector. He served as the president of Broadway Stores and chair of the University of California Board of Regents, and was the owner of the Hannah Carter Japanese Garden.
