Donald Peterman

Donald William Peterman, ASC (January 3, 1932 – February 5, 2011) was an American cinematographer whose numerous feature film credits included Flashdance, Cocoon, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Point Break, and Men in Black. He was a regular collaborator of directors like Ron Howard, Ron Underwood and Barry Sonnenfeld. He was a two-time Academy Award nominee and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the American Society of Cinematographers since 1984.
