Playing the drumset since 2002, He is a graduate of the Istanbul State Conservatory. In 2008, he became the first Turkish drummer to win Modern Drummer's Undiscovered Drummer Contest. Titiz has played for Turkish rock bands 'Athena' and 'Duman'. With Athena, he represented Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, placing 4th with 195 points.
