Digorsky District
Digorsky District (Russian: Диго́рский райо́н; Ossetian: Дыгуры район, Dygury rajon; Digorian: Дигори район, Digori rajon) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the eight in the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, Russia. It is located in the west of the republic. The area of the district is 640 square kilometers (250 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Digora. Population: 19,334 (2010 Census); 20,625 (2002 Census); 19,328 (1989 Census). The population of Digora accounts for 56.1% of the district's total population.
