Dey (Persian: دی, Persian pronunciation: [dei̯]) is the tenth month of the Solar Hijri calendar, the official calendar of Iran and Afghanistan. It marks the start of winter. It has thirty days, beginning in December and ending in January of the Gregorian Calendar.
