Dennis Silk

Dennis Raoul Whitehall Silk CBE (8 October 1931  19 June 2019) was an English first-class cricketer and a public school headmaster. He was a close friend of the poet Siegfried Sassoon, of whom he spoke and wrote extensively. In the 1990s he chaired the Test and County Cricket Board.
