deLesseps Story "Toni" Morrison Jr. (March 11, 1944 – August 21, 1996) was an American lawyer and international business developer and a Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1974 to 1980.

| 1 Morrison failed in a 1977 campaign to follow in his father's footsteps as mayor of New Orleans, losing to the first black mayor of New Orleans, Dutch Morial, as the city's population was 65% African American at that time. He had dogbites on his legs to show for his support of Civil Rights at the march in Selma, Alabama.
