David Wilson (running back)
David Emmanuel Wilson (born June 15, 1991) is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). Wilson played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies, earning second-team All-American honors in 2011. He was selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft by the New York Giants with the 32nd overall pick. He was forced to retire after only two NFL seasons because of a career-ending neck injury. He is currently pursuing a career in music.
