David Cantolla

David Cantolla (born 31 October 1967) is a Spanish entrepreneur, co-founder of Colección SOLO. He is known for co-creating and directing the animated series Pocoyó, Jelly Jamm, Pirata et Capitano, and Mola Noguru, among other business initiatives.

He serves on the board of directors of the Spanish Interactive Arts Academy and is co-author, with Juan-Díaz Faes, of the graphic novel Éxito para perdedores (Success for Losers). He is currently a founding partner of the esports company Koi Movistar/Overactive.

Alongside Ana Francisca Gervás, owner of Mahou San Miguel Spanish brewing company, he co-founded SOLO, a contemporary art project support prject based in its museum in Madrid and a contemporary art collection that includes works by Nam June Paik, Neo Rauch, Keichi Tanaami, Miriam Cahn, and Peter Saul, among others. The collection, comprising around 1,000 works, is accessible at the SOLO Independencia space in Madrid.

He studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid and holds a master's degree in Computer Design/Desktop Publishing-Computer Solutions Apple ICC. After graduating, he worked as a video artist with La Fura dels Baus, participated in ArtFutura and Sonar festivals, and exhibited at the Museo Nacional Reina Sofía.
