Dasht-e Sar-e Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان دشت سر غربی) is in Dasht-e Sar District of Amol County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Firuz Kola-ye Vosta.

After the 2011 National Census, Dasht-e Sar Rural District was separated from Dabudasht District in the establishment of Dasht-e Sar District, which was divided into two rural districts.
At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 18,742 in 6,168 households. The most populous of its 14 villages was Shad Mahal, with 5,818 people.
