Dan Cox
Daniel Lewis Cox (born August 9, 1974) is an American far-right politician. He is a Republican who represented the fourth district in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2019 to 2023. He was the unsuccessful Republican nominee in the 2022 Maryland gubernatorial election, which he lost in a landslide, and had been endorsed by former president Donald Trump. An election denier, Cox is a staunch proponent of the disproven conspiracy theory that the 2020 United States presidential election was marred by fraud. He is currently a candidate for Congress in Maryland's 6th congressional district.
