The Crosby-Schøyen Codex (or MS 193, Crosby Codex, Mississippi Coptic Codex I, or Savery Codex) is a 3rd-4th century AD Ancient Egyptian Coptic Papyrus and Liturgical text. First written in Alexandria, the codex consists of 104 pages, and consists of the earliest surviving whole copies of the Book of Jonah, 1 Peter, in addition to containing Peri Pascha, 2 Maccabees (5:27 to 7:41), and an Easter Homily. It is considered the early example of the transition from a scroll to codex.
