Cres (Italian: Cherso; Ancient Greek: Κρέψα; Latin: Crepsa) is a Croatian town located on the island of Cres which is directly off the Istrian Peninsula and in the Kvarner Gulf. As of 2021, the town had a population of 2,716 inhabitants.
