Corona (planetary geology)

In planetary geology, a corona /kəˈrnə/ (plural: coronae /kəˈrn/) is an oval-shaped feature. Coronae appear on both the planet Venus and Uranus's moon Miranda and may be formed by upwellings of warm material below the surface.
