Cornell Woolrich

Cornell George Hopley Woolrich (/ˈwʊlrɪ/ WUUL-ritch; December 4, 1903 – September 25, 1968) was an American novelist and short story writer. He sometimes used the pseudonyms William Irish and George Hopley.
