Coimbatore Urban Development Authority

The Coimbatore Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA), otherwise known as the Coimbatore Urban Development Authority (CUDA), is the nodal planning agency of Coimbatore in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The CUDA administers the Coimbatore Metropolitan Region. It was set up for the purposes of planning, co-ordination, supervising, promoting and securing the planned development of the Coimbatore Metropolitan Area. It coordinates the development activities of the municipal corporations, municipalities and other local authorities.
