Cindy Ryu
Cindy Ryu (born 1949) is an American politician serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives from the 32nd district. She was the first Korean-American woman to be a mayor in the United States. She is the Chair of the Community and Economic Development Committee and works on issues such as broadband deployment, catalytic converter thefts, consumer protection, outdoor recreation funding, increasing housing supply, and resilience of small businesses, communities, infrastructure and the environment.
