Chubar, Shaft
Chubar (Persian: چوبر), also Romanized as Chūbar, Choobor, Chowbar, and Chuber; also known as Chobar, is a village in, and the capital of, Chubar Rural District of Ahmadsargurab District, Shaft County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,248 in 335 households. The following census in 2011 counted 1,265 people in 375 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,069 people in 360 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
