Choi Wan-gyu
Choi Wan Gyu ( 최완규, born August 18, 1964) is a South Korean screenwriter. Selected for MBC Best Theater Scenario Contest "Boring love, funny movie" (1993, his screenwriting debut).

Other notable things in his career: He dropped out of Incheon University English Literature Department; In 2008, he was sued for breach of contract by Always Uki Co., Ltd. and ICBN Co., Ltd; In 2022 he was emprisoned (charges not known). In 2019 he was listed as a habitual high-amount tax delinquent by the South Korean National Tax Service. In 2018, under the South Korean Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Laws, etc., he was sentenced to two years of probation in prison for charges (possibly fraud and gambiing).
