Chiu Kuo-cheng

Chiu Kuo-cheng (traditional Chinese: 邱國正; simplified Chinese: 邱国正; pinyin: Qiū Guózhèng; born 12 April 1953) is a Taiwanese politician and retired general of the ROC Army. He is the current Minister of National Defense. He was the Director-General of the National Security Bureau from 24 July 2019 to 22 February 2021, and the Chief of General Staff of the Republic of China Armed Forces from 1 December 2016 to 28 April 2017, and a former Vice Minister of National Defense for Armaments.
