Central District (Dowreh County)
The Central District of Dowreh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان دوره), formerly Chegeni District (بخش چگنی), formerly Dowreh-e Chegeni District (Persian: بخش دوره چگني), is in Dowreh County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sarab-e Dowreh.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of Khorramabad County) was 31,117 in 6,657 households. The following census in 2011 counted 16,190 people in 4,015 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Dowreh County. At the latest census in 2016, the district had 15,624 inhabitants in 4,346 households.
