Chaybasar-e Sharqi Rural District

Chaybasar-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان چايپاسار شرقي) is in the Central District of Poldasht County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Eshqabad, transferred from Yowla Galdi.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Poldasht District of Maku County) was 6,132 in 1,214 households. There were 6,963 inhabitants in 1,604 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Poldasht County. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,331 in 1,500 households. The most populous of its 16 villages was Shidi, with 881 people.
