Charles Morris (British politician)

Charles Richard Morris PC (14 December 1926 – 8 January 2012) was a British politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Manchester Openshaw from 1963 to 1983. A member of the Labour Party, he served as a Minister of State from 1974 to 1979 and a Government Whip from 1966 to 1970.
