Central District (Borujerd County)
The Central District of Borujerd County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بروجرد) is in Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Borujerd.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 285,179 in 73,528 households. The following census in 2011 counted 304,153 people in 89,479 households. At the latest census in 2016, the district had 293,464 inhabitants in 91,778 households.
After the census, Shirvan Rural District separated from the district, was renamed Shirvan-e Sharqi Rural District, and along with the newly created Shirvan-e Gharbi Rural District established Shirvan District.
