Central District (Abadeh County)

The Central District of Abadeh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان آباده) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Abadeh.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 87,203 in 23,387 households. The following census in 2011 counted 92,957 people in 28,463 households. At the latest census in 2016, the district had 100,831 inhabitants in 31,672 households.

In July 2018, Bahman Rural District, Khosrow Shirin Rural District, Bahman, and Soghad were separated from the Central District in the establishment of the new Bahman and Soghad District.
