From its launch, the channel sourced most of its programming from U.S.-based Comedy Central. After years, Shaw Communications, Astral (later acquired by this channel’s current ownership) and Les Films Rozon sold their shares to Bell Media, and the network began to moved some of its programming from its original format to sister channel Much. It was rebranded to its current name in 2019.
