Buysky District
Buysky District (Russian: Бу́йский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kostroma Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,248 square kilometers (1,254 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Buy (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 9,035 (2021 Census); 11,829 (2010 Census); 8,847 (2002 Census); 11,737 (1989 Census).
