Butyn (Russian: Бутынь) is a rural locality (a hamlet) in Odintsovsky District, Moscow Oblast, Russia. Population: 180 (2010 Census); 13 (2002 Census); . Butyn is the birthplace of the late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
