Borborud-e Sharqi District

Borborud-e Sharqi District (Persian: بخش بربرود شرقی) is in Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Chaman Soltan.

Not to be confused with Borborud-e Gharbi District, Borborud-e Gharbi Rural District, or Borborud-e Sharqi Rural District.

After the 2011 National Census, Borborud-e Sharqi Rural District and Farsesh Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Borborud-e Sharqi District, which was divided into two rural districts.

At the latest census in 2016, the district had 10,427 inhabitants in 3,029 households.
