Blagoveshchensky District, Amur Oblast
Blagoveshchensky District (Russian: Благове́щенский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty in Amur Oblast, Russia. The area of the district is 3,060 square kilometers (1,180 sq mi). Its administrative center is the city of Blagoveshchensk (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 19,641 (2010 Census); 18,673 (2002 Census); 18,192 (1989 Census).
