Bill Muirhead (curler)

Bill Muirhead (27 December 1928 – 24 November 2021) was a Scottish curler. He was a World Men's silver medallist (1970, 1976), bronze medallist (1969) and three-time Scottish men's champion. His daughter Billie-May competed at the 1983 World Championship. His brother Thomas (Tom) Muirhead is the father of Gordon and grandfather of Glen, Eve, and Thomas Muirhead. Bill Muirhead previously coached David Smith in the 1980s. He died in Scone on 24 November 2021, at the age of 92.
