Basil Vatatzes
Basil Vatatzes (Greek: Βασίλειος Βατάτζης, romanized: Vasileios Vatatzēs, fl. c. 1187–1194) was a Byzantine military commander, and likely the father of the Nicaean emperor John III Doukas Vatatzes.
