Barik Rud-e Shomali Rural District

Barik Rud-e Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان باريك رود شمالی), formerly Barik Rud Rural District (دهستان باريك رود), is in the Central District of Fereydunkenar County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Suteh.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as Barik Rud Rural District of the former Fereydunkenar District of Babolsar County) was 4,506 in 1,277 households. In the following census of 2011, there were 3,914 inhabitants in 1,235 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Fereydunkenar County. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,991 in 1,381 households. The most populous of its nine villages was Suteh, with 1,511 people.
