Banská Bystrica District
Banská Bystrica District (Slovak: okres Banská Bystrica, Hungarian: Besztercebányai járás) is a district in the Banská Bystrica Region of central Slovakia. Until 1918, the area belonged to the county of Zvolen within the Kingdom of Hungary.
