Balakovo
Balakovo (Russian: Балако́во, IPA: [bəlɐˈkovə]) is a city in Saratov Oblast, Russia, located on the East bank of the Volga River about 131 kilometers (81 mi) northeast of Saratov, the administrative center of the oblast. Population: 199,690 (2010 Census); 200,470 (2002 Census); 197,391 (1989 Census).
