Baji Prabhu Deshpande
Baji Prabhu Deshpande (c. 1615 – 13 July 1660) was a general of the Maratha Army. He is known for his role in the Battle of Pavan Khind at Ghod Khind, where he sacrificed his life defending Shivaji from incoming Adil Shahi forces of Siddi Johar. He also was a landlord or Vatandar in the Maval region.

Many films, television shows, books and novels are based on his life. In the 2022 Bollywood movie Har Har Mahadev, Sharad Kelkar played Baji Prabhu.
