Ashurabad, Lorestan
Ashurabad (Persian: اشوراباد), also Romanized as Āshūrābād, ‘Ashīrābād, and Ashorabād, is a village in, and the capital of, Japelaq-e Gharbi Rural District of Japelaq District, Azna County, Lorestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 881 in 220 households. The following census in 2011 counted 732 people in 233 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 801 people in 275 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
