Arcuate popliteal ligament

The arcuate popliteal ligament is an Y-shaped extracapsular ligament of the knee.:138 It is formed as a thickening of the posterior fibres of the joint capsule of the knee.:138 It reinforces the knee joint capsule inferolaterally.
