Aqabad
Aqabad (Persian: آق آباد, also Romanized as Āqābād) is a village in, and the capital of, Aqabad Rural District of the Central District of Gonbad-e Kavus County, Golestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 4,085 in 763 households. The following census in 2011 counted 4,899 people in 1,259 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,534 people in 1,403 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
