Ani (asomtavruli Ⴀ, nuskhuri ⴀ, mkhedruli ა, mtavruli Ა) is the 1st letter of the three Georgian scripts.

Ani represents an open central unrounded vowel /a/, like the pronunciation of ⟨a⟩ in "father".
