Angelo Colocci

Angelo Colocci (Latin: Angelus Colotius; 1467–1549) was a papal secretary of Pope Leo X, a romance philologist, and a Renaissance humanist. He assembled a large collection of antiquities in his villa beside the Aqua Virgo.
