Anba Epiphanius
Anba Epiphanius (June 27, 1954 – July 29, 2018) (Coptic: Ⲁⲃⲃⲁ ⲉⲡⲓⲫⲁⲛⲓⲟⲥ; Arabic: الأنبا أبيفانيوس) was an Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church bishop. He was appointed the bishop and abbot of the Monastery of St. Macarius in 2013, a position he held until his death. Anba Epiphanius was murdered on July 29, 2018 at the monastery.
