Amsterdamsche Bank

The Amsterdamsche Bank was a significant bank in the Netherlands, founded in 1871. In 1964, it merged with Rotterdamsche Bank to form AMRO Bank (for AMsterdamsche & ROtterdamsche).

Not to be confused with Bank of Amsterdam.
