Amirabad (western Baft)

Amirabad (Persian: اميراباد, also Romanized as Amīrābād) is a village in, and the capital of, Gughar Rural District of the Central District of Baft County, Kerman province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 920 in 222 households. The following census in 2011 counted 1,203 people in 364 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,621 people in 572 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.
