Ambroise de Loré

Ambroise de Loré (1396, château de Loré, Oisseau  May 24, 1446, Paris) was baron of Ivry in Normandy, a French military commander, and comrade-in-arms of Joan of Arc. A reforming commisar of trades and police and "Garde de la prévôté de Paris" (guard of the provost of Paris), he became Provost of Paris from 1436 to 1446. He also fought at the battles of Agincourt, la Brossinière, Orleans and Patay.
