Alicia O'Shea Petersen

Alicia Teresa Jane O'Shea Petersen (née McShane; 2 July 1862 – 22 January 1923) was an Australian suffragist and social reformer. She was both the first woman to stand for the Parliament of Tasmania and the first woman to stand for a Tasmanian seat in the Parliament of Australia.
